About Me

In trying to overcome my fears and anxieties, I need to overcome all of my Kleshas. Chitta Vrttis, the fluctuation of my mind stems from the feeling of inadequacy as a child. These negative feelings of insecurities; afraid of not being loved, not being accepted, afraid of being alone, afraid of being hurt, feeling not good enough, disappointments, sadness, and sorrow. Not feeling loved for who I'm, being judged, humiliated, and left alone.

These inadequacies and power struggle wreak havoc on my personal life. I need to learn the Right knowledge and remove the wrong identification I put on myself. And what do I do? I did it what I was afraid of: I surfed, dived, bought myself a custom motorcycle, and drove it all alone. I channeled my negative emotions into creative outlets and learned the step-by-step necessary to transform my ideas into creative projects.

These activities forced me to be self-aware, self-reliant, concentrate, and focus in the present moment. Yoga is concentration. I understand, in accordance for me to live here peacefully, I need to accept everything as it is. The world doesn't have to be some other way or another for me to be happy. I developed healthier eating habits, immersed myself in the study of Yoga and yoga practice. Above all else, I accept myself as I am with its strength and weaknesses, its beauty, blemishes, and sorrow. I've realized that we are divine souls having human experiences.

In the process of self-discovery and transformation, as B.K.S. Iyengar rightly said: "To get the best out of an instrument, one must know how it works. The mind is the instrument for thinking, and therefore it is necessary to consider how it functions."
