Trusted teacher: I am a first class Music graduate from Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts where I gained skills in vocal technique, songwriting and performance. I now use these skills as a professional vocalist and solo jazz artist. I have 10+ years of experience teaching which includes leading a children's choir, teaching music to ages 6 months to 10 years at nursery and after school clubs, and extensive one-to-one vocal coaching. My teaching method is different for everyone. Whatever your focus is, be it gaining confidence performing, or wanting to sing that big Beyoncé song, I've been through the same learning process and aim to use my own experiences and lessons I've learnt along the way to help you reach your full potential and achieve your goals. I can help with: • gaining confidence performing and developing various techniques to help with performance anxiety • improving and developing various vocal techniques that will equip you with the skills to sing the songs you want to • helping build a repertoire that suits your voice • expanding your vocal range, and learning techniques to manage your break and weaker areas • improving pitching & ear training • learning how to improvise • developing your own style, helping to make covers your own • learning how to do backing vocals and harmonies • songwriting • preparing you for auditions, performances, recordings and entry exams • basics of piano playing and accompaniment I am fun, friendly, patient and look forward to working with you :)

Trusted teacher: Hi All, thank you for checking out my course. This class is open to students of all levels. Whether you are only starting to learn the wild-looking letters of the Cyrillic alphabet, or whether you are looking to practise your written and spoken Russian, I would be delighted to accompany you at any stage of your Russian-learning journey. For more advanced students, I would be happy to help you get to know one of the most defining aspects of the Russian language, namely its novels and poetry, which would be a great way to learn about the 'mysterious' Russian soul. I believe that studying in three different countries have allowed me to try out and assess various approaches to education in general and teaching languages in particular - from the rigourous Russian system based on ensuring that the students will obtain exceptional spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation skills, to the more relaxed yet more critical and analytical Western approach, focused on problem-solving and independent work. You will get the benefit of a vast bank of techniques, methods and learning materials that I have developed and accumulated over the past year will be used in class to pique and maintain your interest. And since I was once a language student too, I would be able to share my personal tips and tricks with you to help you reach whatever goal you have set for yourself - be it being able to wow your friends and family by reciting a poem in the language of Dostoyevski, or impressing your future collegues with the thorough knowledge of Russian current affairs in their mother tongue!

Trusted teacher: 👂 My motto for teaching music: Learn with your ear, before understanding it with your brain. Music can be explained entirely from a theoretical point of view 🤯. But I'm convinced that the best approach is to feel and sing the music 🎤💖, before understanding and interpreting it theoretically. I teach music theory intuitively 💫. More than just a way of reading sheet music, I can show you how to deconstruct a piece of music in any genre, how to interpret chords, and how to improvise simply and effectively. ♯♭♮ About me: • playing the piano for >30 years 🎹 • studied classical music & jazz for 13 years in music schools 🧑🏻‍🏫 • played in a variety of bands, including classical music, jazz, blues, Latin music, rock, pop, cabaret, flamenco and electronic music • languages: 🇬🇧🇩🇪🇫🇷🇪🇸🇮🇹🇵🇹 -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------------ 👂 My motto for music lessons: Learn with your ear before you understand it with your head. Trusted teacher: - Berlin based educator with over 12 years' of experience working as a maths tutor and as a classroom teacher. - I specialise in teaching GCSE Maths as well as GCSE English Literature. - Experience with the IB and with UK school entrance exams. - Experience helping students to transition to the UK system. Particular experience working with young people whose neurodiversity impacts on their learning. I bring a comprehensive understanding of the syllabus requirements, as well as a sensitivity to the needs of students of varying abilities and learning styles. I can offer support alongside the student's schooling, or can design a full homeschooling course. Classes can be online, in person or hybrid. I have a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MFA in Creative Writing from St Andrews. Before becoming a tutor and teacher I worked as a government economics advisor, specialising in Education Policy. I have taught at Brookways School, Sutton; The Sultan's School, Muscat; and worked as supply staff at various schools across London. Oustide of teaching, I am a poet, theatre maker, facilitator and play therapist. This helps me to keep lessons engaging and fun. My teaching begins with a good relationship with the student. I also offer classes in drama and creative writing, to adults as well as young people. Selected Case Studies: O (16) and A (14) 2021-2022 (Maths and English GCSE) I home schooled O for one academic year, working on English and Maths GCSE. O has ASD and needed to work with a tutor with experience adapting to his particular learning needs. I worked with O for 12 hours each week. The role required adaptability to the family's schedules and O's varying ability to engage with the work. I now work with O's sister A on maths. A was 14 when we worked together and I was able to help her to plug gaps in her maths knowledge. Zoe (15-16) 2021-2023 (English GCSE) "Sean has been tutoring my daughter for 1.5 years. He engaged well with Zoe who found him inspiring and fun to work with. Sean is thoughtful and diligent, he understood the challenges she is facing with creative writing and constructed the lessons to suit her needs. He was also willing to change the content of a class and adapt to her requests at times that she was struggling to follow up. We feel very lucky to have had Sean supporting Zoe for her GCSE creative writing and would certainly recommend him to other families." (Athina, mother) Bert (15-16) 2021-2022 (Maths and English GCSE) "I would not hesitate to recommend Sean, who tutored my son Bert throughout his GCSEs to success. Bert, who is dyslexic also struggles with ADHD, he's not a natural student and struggles to engage. Sean showed outstanding compassion, rigour and tenacity around getting Bert on task, giving him context of the syllabus and supporting his learning. Sean is kind, thoughtful and holds a firm bar on what is expected/needed from his students. For Bert this worked super well, fostering a relationship of mutual respect. We enjoyed to have Sean stay with us during various holidays and he was flexible in his plans to accommodate different needs and locations. Sean is a great tutor and a really lovely guy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him." (Rachel, mother)

Violin Lessons for All Levels - Beginner through Conservatory (Steglitz)
Usha
Usha is a world-class violinist and violin teacher! I studied from a young age and through college at a relatively high level, but had to put it down for many years once I started working. Usha has helped me relearn the fundamentals with good habits and regain confidence as a performing artist. I love how creatively she tackles complex problems, and how her violin lessons--though focused on music and technique--seem to involve big life lessons as well. I look forward to continuing to study with Usha!

Guitar lessons (Acoustic and Electric) and music composition (Kreuzberg)
Sam
Sam is an amazing teacher, patient and open to the student's goals and suggestions. His approach is more technical than theoretical but will nonetheless get anyone willing to learn up to speed on the basics into more advanced notions. He assessed what I was already able to do on the guitar to fill the gaps and help me progress into further fields. So far he's taught me the electric guitar, a bit of bass and piano and I'm very happy about all of it.
