Im offering professional piano lessons for classical music, jazz for beginners, improvisation, popular music as well. I also teach composition and music theory. I studied all of the above at the University. The lessons are at my home in Neukolln, where I have an upright piano. Ask me if you have any additional questions ;)

The hours are designed according to your musical interests. Since each person has his or her own individual approach to music, it is logical and, in my experience, more effective to work with this in a specific way. So, instead of a rigid curriculum in which you lose interest in a short time, I would like to support you in achieving your personal plans and discovering musical possibilities! Depending on your interests, motivation, previous knowledge and musical taste, the following focal points are coordinated: Technique (tone formation, breathing, approach, intonation, finger technique, etc.), ear training, sense of rhythm, improvisation, note reading, music theory. A bit about me: Originally from the UK, I have been playing professionally and teaching for over 10 years, graduating from Leeds College of Music with 1st class honors. Since then I relocated to Berlin to continue to work. Projects I am involved in include the Doug Weiss quartet and FORDE / COHEN / featuring Greg I am a Jazz drummer by trade and first love, however, I have vast experience in all styles including Pop, Rock, and much more. Playing the classical guitar can be utterly gratifying for professionals and amateurs alike; molding unique sounds with our fingers and expressing our inner selves. Even more so, playing an instrument is a way to escape some of our everyday problems. Learning to play the classical guitar, on the other hand, can often be frustrating; progress sometimes feels impossibly slow, and there are way too many things that need our full attention. I'm here to help you make your practice more focused, purposeful, and efficient; establish a routine that will allow you to develop a solid technique, with a musical touch and an all-around repertoire. I offer professional guitar lessons for kids & adults in your home or online. I am a concert guitarist with an Italian master's degree in “classical guitar” at the Conservatorio di Musica (Music Academy) in Benevento, Italy. I have studied guitar for over 10 years and attended the master classes of the world-famous guitarist Edoardo Catemario for 6 years as a student. I gave numerous concerts in my home country (Teatro la Fenice - Venice; Festival Rosso di Sera - Siena; Centro di Musica Antica Fondazione “Pietà de Turchini” - Naples, etc.) Since I have been teaching at music schools in Naples (Italy) for several years, I have a lot of teaching experience with both children and adults. I speak Italian, English, and German.

I am a classical pianist, holding two Master's degrees from the Royal Academy of Music - Postgraduate Certificate in Performance (UK, London, 2015), and Guildhall School of Music and Drama - Master of Performance, advanced instrumental studies: Piano (UK, London, 2019). During studies, I took part in masterclasses with world-renowned teachers and pianists, including Ian Fountain, Colin Stone, and Simon Trpceski. I did solo recitals in Russia, Switzerland, and the UK. I also won the internal piano competition Romantic Piano Prize, which was held at Guildhall School of Music.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques.
