Trusted teacher: Who am I? I am a highly qualified teacher with several years of experience in teaching Italian to foreign students. I organize courses for children, courses for individuals over 60, and preparation courses for Italian language exams. I also offer seminars, webinars, and fun activities such as role-playing games and escape rooms to learn Italian while having fun. **My education and studies** I hold two degrees and a master’s degree. My first degree is in Italian Studies, focusing on Theory, Criticism, and Methodology, with a specific path for teaching Italian to foreigners. My second degree is in Modern Philology. I also completed a Master’s in Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practices at the Luiss Business School in Rome. **What did I do before teaching?** Before dedicating myself to teaching, which I consider the best job in the world, I worked in the fields of fashion and contemporary art. After obtaining my master's degree, I worked as a curator of contemporary art and fashion exhibitions in important museums in Rome. I also collaborated with film festivals, particularly promoting Italian cinema abroad. **My teaching philosophy** I aim to provide my students with all my multidisciplinary knowledge and creativity to offer Italian lessons that include careful grammatical analysis. Beware of those who claim that Italian can be learned without studying grammar: grammar is essential for fully understanding the language system and enables students to become independent right away. Learning grammar is fun and makes learning long-lasting. My lessons do not only focus on the Italian language, but also include insights into Italian culture, from cinema to fashion, from art to design. I also periodically organize meetings with famous Italian artists, including figures from the world of street art. Join me for a unique learning experience that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the Italian language and culture! I currently teach in three Schools for Foreigners and have experience with students of all levels and all ages, including children ;) With me, you can also prepare for the state exams to obtain citizenship. Trusted teacher: Italian is a language officially spoken in Italy only, unlike Spanish, or English, to name the most spoken languages in the western world. But it's becoming more and more a must-know language for many, whether the connection with it comes through food, fashion, Opera, design, the arts in general, or any other of the many interesting sides of Italian culture to make it outside "the boot"'s borders. I have been doing Italian conversation lessons for a few years, it has always been a great pleasure for me to share the beauty of Italian language with people showing a genuine interest in my culture. I tend to keep the conversation fully in Italian, but there would be no problem at all with communicating in English if necessary. I give grammar support when needed, and I have a real interest in etymology and words in general if there's an interest in going deeper in the language. Along with the use of precious grammar books and language manuals, the best way to get into a language is to speak it, even more so if with someone giving you support with its correct pronunciation, and its actual use in a realistic scenario. Like most Italians I have an obsession with good food, I love cooking and I'm always happy to share my recipes and cooking tips. Food is a great conversation subject, and it can give you new skills! All ages and levels welcome. For the youngest, I have a degree in primary school education and I've been a music teacher for over thirty years.

My lesson with Paolo was super comfortable and well structured. He made sure to understand my level, my goals and adjusted his teaching accordingly. I learned a lot, especially because he introduced me to new language learning techniques as well, that I hadn’t expected would work as well for me as they did. Also she does a good prepation work so that classes are interactive and cover various topics (which is also helpful to learn new vocabulary).
