English holds the key to so much for every individual, both in terms of academic success and emotional expression. I offer tuition in English for KS2, 3, 4 and 5 and offer classes in creative writing too, exploring your thoughts and feelings through journalling. If you/your child is looking for help with exam preparation too, I also offer coaching sessions, tapping into the barriers around exams, and making a plan together to help you succeed. From mapping out revision timetables and completing past papers to discussing whether you are eating and sleeping enough around exam season, these sessions will cover it all. In my tuition sessions we will go through your key texts if you have them, or a book that you love, will explore, analyse and close read the text together, working on putting these ideas onto paper in the form of an essay. You will then self-mark under my guidance and will improve your work following some feedback, producing a high-quality, exam-worthy essay. I have been tutoring for 2 years and have an 100% pass rate from my GCSE students last year. We cover content, skills, and practise all of these with the addition of set homework (if wanted) to help with revision.
