I try adapted methods, sometimes visual and/or pictorial or auditory, easily memorized. I do my best to understand the student's functioning so that he/she can gain confidence. I start by explaining a lesson and then I do some training with the student to see if the lesson is understood. Finally, I follow up with exercises of additional difficulty to assess whether the skills have been acquired.
