    Of Greek origin having spent all my professional life in Athens, I teach my native language by combining a lively and pragmatic pedagogy. The aim of the program is to determine the linguistic elements whose control will prove the development and cultivation of the four activities of linguistic communication, namely the comprehension and production of oral and written speech. It should be noted here that usually understanding (reading or listening) alone does not lead to any production, it remains a tacit, internal act. The candidate must demonstrate the degree of understanding of the language through production activities, e.g. remember something he has heard or read, isolate and use specific information, summarize or expand on it, answer a series of questions about it. It is very difficult to consider the following skills as independent of each other. On the contrary, they complement each other and, especially in the evaluation conditions, performance in understanding is proven by productive activities and, on the contrary, productive activities are often based on understanding.
