Hello there! My name is Oliver, and I'm a full-time academic and tutor, mainly in the field of History. I have a BA degree in History, an MA in International History, and am in the process of completing my PhD. My lessons on this platform are primarily aimed at university students (at any level), and I have expertise in modern history. In particular, this includes: intellectual history since the Enlightenment; Russian history c.1861-1928 (especially the Russian Revolution and Civil War); and 20th century European history. I would also be happy to give classes on other and/or more specific topics, so feel free to get in touch if what you're interested in isn't listed here! My academic work has been published in leading peer-reviewed historical journals. Partly because of this, and partly because of specific courses I have undertaken in my career, I also feel confident in offering assistance with essay writing and academic writing in general.
