I have 3 years of teaching experience as a certified TEFL teacher. I believe that teaching should be done with great passion. Whenever I find that my students are not able to understand a particular concept I am always ready to adapt a new method of explaining. I feel that a teacher should act as a guide to allow the student to choose his or her method of learning. Sharing their experiences with their teachers gives students vital life lessons, and I always feel that I learn from my students. I am a TEFL certified teacher with a degree in Foundation Phase Teaching. I previously taught children in preschool and middle school and decided that online teaching is where my passion lies. While being an online ESL teacher I can reach more students and it gives me so much joy to know that I am able to help children on their English learning journey! I apply the communicative approach as I believe that language is mainly a matter of speech, and the more a student speaks openly with a tutor the more they benefit from subtle yet accurate guidance, which will encourage them to rise to the occasion and reach their goals. You will find my teaching style to be very engaging, exciting, and creative. Keeping a positive, patient attitude as well as helping my students learn is important to me! I am a very kind and gentle teacher and I know the importance of creating a learning environment where students can feel comfortable and free of any judgment.
