After working for almost four years with Spanish Administration, I decided to return to what has always been my passion, namely teaching. While I was otherwise employed, I took pains to keep myself up to date with the world of education by taking on tutorial and supply teacher work whenever the opportunity arose, so that I could return to the teaching profession after accumulating invaluable experience.
I am attracted to this post because I see it as a development of my eight years’ experience in which I had direct responsibility for teaching Spanish language to children aged between 11 and 14.
Moreover, I have experience as a Spanish Teacher of mature students.
As a teacher, my main goal is to encourage students to fulfill their potential by imbuing them with a love and passion for Spanish culture and language, and by challenging them to transcend what they perceive as their limitations. I am adept in developing and implementing curriculum, managing classrooms, and helping students advance their understanding of Spanish language and culture. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate people and administrative abilities, I excel at:
Increasing student concentration, participation, and accountability.
Creating hands-on curriculum to promote interest.
Designing creative lesson plans and utilizing diverse technology.
Tutoring and mentoring individual students.
In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for teaching.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher.
