Hello, my name is Maria. I completed a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Manchester. I am interested in human biology and aspire to be a doctor one day. I also love maths; if I hadn't chosen medicine, I may have pursued a degree in mathematics and ended up with a white head one day (just kidding!). I have struggled with academics in the past, so I believe I can relate to my own experience and assist others in finding shortcuts and making studying much more interesting. I feel that sometimes, a good technique and the right amount of motivation are all that is required to get excellent results. My teaching approach primarily revolves around utilizing past exam papers and spaced repetition techniques. The main goal is to expose students to a wide range of exam questions and enhance their ability to solve them effectively. I structure the sessions to cover topics systematically, ensuring thorough understanding rather than rushing through content. Quality of learning takes precedence over quantity, emphasizing mastery of concepts rather than mere coverage.
