I offer Spanish conversation workshops, tailored to your needs.
With around ten years of experience, I enjoy supporting people, whether in individual sessions or in small groups, who wish to improve their communication in Spanish, particularly for trips to Spanish-speaking countries.
Most of my clients share similar interests: artists, scientists, social workers, students, activists, and advocates. This generally makes learning enjoyable and enriching.
I also have 8 years of experience assisting teachers in pedagogy, science and sociology with the translation of academic texts and articles from English and French into Spanish.
What I offer you:
- Personalized conversation dialogues, centered on real travel situations.
- Developing conversation topics based on your interests and the places you want to visit.
- Assistance in creating vocabulary sheets adapted to your needs.
- A non-directive and creative approach, aimed at maintaining your interest and facilitating your learning. I offer personalized scenarios and role-plays, based on real-life conversations.
- Historical and cultural references to enrich your knowledge.
For your information, I have also worked as a private tour guide in Mexico, specializing in archaeological sites and the ancestral knowledge of the First Nations, particularly in the south-central region of the country, which has a great ancestral cultural and culinary diversity. For example, the Cd de México route, Puebla, Oaxaca
Meeting places:
I can meet you near the Joliette metro station, or come to your home or a café, depending on your preference.

Traditional or assisted tarot meditation. The divinatory aspect of the tarot is excluded. By drawing inspiration instead from the archetypes of Carl Gustav Jung, dreams and the collective unconscious, tarot reading becomes a technique that can facilitate recognition of ourselves as well as better observation of our here and now.
I offer a reading of three or ten cards (Celtic cross drawing) for 60 to 120 minutes with the tarot of Marseille or that of Kim Krans, artist of Jungian influence.
The session is accompanied by guided breathing exercises to promote mindfulness (Buddhist approach).
I am happy to share what I have learned and my experience of tarot readings since 2015.

Individual, couple or group service.
These workshops aim to learn or simply practice steps, in a relaxed atmosphere and in a safe space. Relaxation is promoted with guided breathing exercises.
Concept art:
The cumbia-relajación workshop is a concept that pays homage to ancestral rhythms linked to the Earth and to heartbeats. One of these rhythms is the "tresillo", which is found in several popular dances in Abya Yala / Anahuac / Tawantinsuyo such as cumbia, bachata, bullengue, reggaeton*, etc. This rhythm is also present in millennial cultures around the world.
The steps have similarities to movements in Tai-chi or Qi-gong, and have the potential to bring health benefits. It is an approach that has the potential to connect the moving body with the mind.
Socially, a circle dance can help release any inhibitions. The workshop aims to encourage safe spaces where we can dance alone, or in groups.
*important note. I promote songs whose lyrics are neither sexist nor misogynistic.
