I am born and raised in Mainland China, traveling across the whole country, and lived in different cities when I grew up. I came to the Netherlands for a master's degree (education program) in 2014. I have been living in the Netherlands for over 7 years and have worked in different multi-national companies with a cultural mindset and adaptive communications with people who have different backgrounds. Knowing a lot of my friends who are interested in Chinese/Mandarin learning but only for practical reasons, I have a Dutch partner who is taught by me for some daily but simple conversations in Chinese, the results are showing without knowing grammar or recognizing Chinese characters, some phrases can be widely and well used for traveling purpose. I teach not mainly based on books or theoretical way if you are not too serious about grammar. This might be worth learning Chinese in a different way. If you need a quick few sections for practice before you go traveling to China or just want to order food in a local Chinese restaurant. Even advanced Chinese learners can use online sections to practice pronunciation or slang/jokes. This is a cheap and practical way to start online practice with me.
