I have experience teaching large classrooms and one to one tuition. I have a BA in English Literature and a Masters in English Literature from the University of Durham. I am a patient and thorough teacher and have helped students to develop their essay writing and comprehension skills. I believe that continued reading is an essential part of developing as an English and History student and that practice really does make perfect! I am a qualified TESOL teacher and after graduating with my undergraduate degree in 2015 worked in PR, Communications and Marketing. I am seeking to build on my previous teaching experience before continuing my education and am therefore hoping to provide tuition in essay writing, English Literature and English Language, and History. I am a nuanced grammarian, a stickler for semantics and believe studying literature and History develops an independent mind and the ability to understand the world from different perspectives. I am happy to tutor Secondary and Higher students and am also available to support students currently studying for their undergraduate degree. I am also available to tutor younger learners.
