As a mathematics undergraduate student, I know that the way math is taught from elementary school to high school often relies on memorizing formulas and knowing where to apply them, which makes learning tedious and boring. In my classes, I aim to explain each mathematical concept based on what my students already know and what they don’t, to encourage them to understand why such an object arises. I strive to make them feel like they are discovering it for the first time so they can truly make the knowledge their own. The classes can cover topics such as algebra, geometry, analytic geometry, precalculus, integral and differential calculus, multivariable calculus, set theory, mathematical logic, linear algebra, differential equations, probability, and modern algebra.
