Chinese is my mother tongue. I taught Chinese during my master's studies in Switzerland. I work part-time as a Chinese-French and Chinese-English translator in a traditional Chinese medicine practice. I have developed a study plan tailored to each student's language level. For the different levels, I prepare a short interesting text for each lesson, then help the student engage in an open conversation, with a Chinese writing assignment and recitation at the end of the lesson. Of course, for students starting from scratch, I will focus on pronunciation in the first month, as it plays a crucial role in motivating them to speak. This will be accompanied by examples, scenarios, and short texts. After learning English, French and German, I discovered dynamic methods to learn a new language. I also helped my husband to start learning Chinese, which allowed me to design Chinese courses in an effective and interesting way. Giving Chinese lessons while introducing you to Chinese culture is a job that gives me pleasure. And what's more, I feel proud when I see the progress of my students.
