I offer courses in both English and Creative Writing for 11+ exams, and for those working towards their GCSEs and A Level examinations. I’ll provide you with material that will help to support you with reading texts, analytical skills and anything else you are struggling with. I’ve been teaching for 3 years now and have been successful in securing top grades for my students. My approach always puts students at the centre, actively encouraging questions and dialogue. I believe the best method is a two-way approach – so no, I won’t be reading off boring presentation slides for 60 minutes! I’ll take the time to get to know you, your hobbies and interests, so I can teach you in a way that is light and digestible...but effective. Sparking discussion is important to me – after all, the great thing about reading literature is that there is often no one right answer! I will set you personalised targets that we can review together, ensuring you are confident in achieving the best grades possible.
