A five-lesson course that I have run in a few different schools, this would be an ideal opportunity to hone your compositional skills. The five lessons/topic areas as follows: 1. Melody 2. Harmony 3. Instrumentation and extended techniques 4. Genre, style and contemporary idioms 5. Quiz and pragmatic concerns as a composer This course will be suitable for beginner and intermediate level composers. After these initial 5 lessons, I will set compositional exercises and tasks which we can then look over and talk about.
