Ciao a tutti, my name is Corinna and I'm a native Italian, from Brescia, in the North of Italy. I just moved back to Europe, after been living in the US for 6 years and currently I live in Lisbon. I started to teach Italian in a school language in OC and after that I moved to different states in the US where I kept teaching private lessons to beginner and intermediate-advance levels. I’ve been teaching Italian for more than 5 years now, so I have a great understanding of how to make it easier and I will speak in Italian during the class (starting with few words for beginner and full time class for advance) in order to involve you more in the Italian culture. We will learn the basics, the grammar (I know!) but also we’ll read articles, discuss topics, talk about Italian culture, food, people and more! I usually have 20/30 minutes of a first lesson with the new student, where I ask you guys what you want to learn or focus on. Then I talk to you to understand the best way to work together in order to achieve your goal. All material is provided by me and after each lesson I will assign homework that we’ll review together the next time. I would suggest at least to have 1 hour class per week, the trick is being constant!
