I provide a one to one tutoring service for students at all levels of English ability. I can help with specific test preparation that you may be doing or if you need formal lessons of vocabulary relating to an area you are working in, or even if you just want to learn the basics of interpersonal communication, you should contact me. My teaching style revolves around kind evaluation and helpful feedback. I do generally expect students to complete small exercises outside of the lesson hours, which I then correct and provide feedback on. In the past, most of my students have been at university level in Ireland already, meaning that our lessons revolved around improving their cognitive academic language ability, but I also have some experience in teaching more informal lessons focused around basic interpersonal communication skills. My goal is to keep students challenged and engaged. Generally, I will expect students to complete some work in their own which I will then correct and provide feedback on.
