Besides being very active as a performing violinist, I have also enjoyed teaching children and adults for years. I am a conservatory graduate and also a music therapist graduate. As a result, I have a lot of knowledge and patience when working with children/adults who need specific attention. This includes people with autism, gifted children and highly sensitive children. Of course you are also welcome as an adult with or without extra challenges. I myself have 3 children, 1 gifted and 1 highly sensitive. This has allowed me to teach these children with even more enthusiasm, understanding and patience. It is also possible to indicate in advance in conversation what your child will encounter and how violin lessons can help. For example, with autistic children, think of making contact, feeling. Gifted children experience extra challenges and learn to deal with the frustration that something does not work right away. Of course everyone is welcome with me! I teach from different methods, but look at what is appropriate for each student. I also work on the development of sound performance, solfege, music theory and improvisation. I have a classic basic method, but work tailor-made and see what someone needs. Light pop / film music is also a possibility.
