Thank you for your interest in taking cello lessons with me. I have been teaching for more than 15 years, in music schools in Russia, face-to-face with my own private students and more recently online as well. I coach beginner cellists, hobbyists and advanced students, children and adults. I focus on solid technique and fun through a varied repertoire adapted to the students' interests. I have experience in succesfully preparing students for the ABRSM 1-8 & Diploma exams. MUSIC THEORY From music notation to scales, chords, rhythm and sight reading, I give my students a solid foundation in music theory and help them prepare for the ABRSM or local music school exams. PERFORMANCE I teach ensemble skills/concert practice and rehearsal techniques for students playing in ensembles. I coach students and prepare young cellists for solo performances, exams or auditions. Together we focus on the interpretation of a piece to bring the music to life.
