--I am currently doing a PhD at Imperial College London -MSc Biochemistry University of Oxford:I graduated in 2018 with a specialization in virology -HL Maths 7/7; HL Physics 7/7; HL Chemistry 7/7; SL Geography 7/7; SL French 7/7; SL Enligsh: 6/7. I graduated in 2014 from United World College of South East Asia East Campus in Singapore I taught at Oxford Royale Academy teaching Chemistry, Physics, and Academic Writing to students aged 16-18 in groups of 8 to 25 students. In my final years of high school and while studying at Oxford, I tutored students in groups of up to 5. I I specialize in preparing students for IB, A-levels, or IGCSEs exams, but I also have experience tutoring students as young as 8 years old. My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. I push my students to think independently and to apply abstract concepts to real-world scenarios. I start with topics that the student is fairly comfortable with, progressing slowly to new and more complex areas as their understanding grows. I tend to use past exam paper questions on a particular topic to check understanding as we're going through the topic. Once a student has grasped a topic, I shift my focus to exam technique: what to look for in exam questions, common pitfalls, and how to start tackling the more challenging questions. I believe that a clear and systematic approach is essential when tacking exams in the sciences.
