I have also started my PhD studies in International Relations, never completed them, but I still have strong interest in international politics and geostrategic issues. I also worked for more than a decade in business environment, translating and proofreading English texts in various fields. This class focusses on reading and thinking critically in English, but also on vocabulary and advancing your English in general. We will read the latest world news or interesting articles on other topics of your interest, summarize and discuss them. You may choose an article or I can choose it for you. You will read the article aloud and I will correct any mistakes. Then, we will go through vocabulary and expressions. I will help you with new words and explain grammatical rules, if necessary. You will then read the article again and after that we will discuss the topics and share our opinions.
