Parts of speech are the different groups or families where all words in English language are classified. Just as we all came from different families so does or words came from a different families which can be referred to as parts of speech or word classes. Examples of these parts of speech include: Noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, adverb, preposition, conjunction, interjection, determiner (article).
