Many people think that, just because they can speak English, they can teach it. They're wrong! Sometimes, they just don't know the ins and outs of the language. Other times, they can't teach it. Fortunately, I have a track record in both areas. Not only am I a native English speaker, but I have a linguistics degree from Oxford, a philosophy degree from UCL, and I'm a qualified teacher. There are few people better placed to teach you English than me. I've taught it as an academic subject, but also as a foreign language, in Italy and Canada.
