I love teaching Math and to be able to help students meet their career and personal goals. When I start a topic, I am careful to not rush through it. I am prepared to devote, if needed, a good deal of time in clarifying the basics and make my students fundamentally strong in the topic. Math learning is often cumulative: learning any new topic would presume that you already understand certain concepts of math. If you don't already know these concepts, math becomes a hard subject. If you do, and possess an affinity for logical and analytical thinking, which - and here is the good news - most of us naturally have, then you may find yourself falling in love with Math. If your fundamentals are strong, you will find that doing math is fun. My students often start slow, but end up completing the marathon: be it developing a life-long affinity for Math, or obtaining good grades in class, or clearing competitive exams like SAT, or an exam as competitive as the JEE Mains of India. You become good in a subject if you like it. I endeavor to help my students like Math, and thereby becoming good in it. Happy learning.
