About Me
I always loved Science (particularly Biology) and - besides the obvious reference to Rosalind Franklin, Charles Darwin and Alfred Wallace - I was greatly influenced by Desmond Morris, David Attenborough, Stephen Jay Gould, Richard Dawkins and Paul Ekman. Their ability to question and to endure on a quest for the truth has always amazed me.I am a Biologist with a Master's degree in the field of Education (focusing on Biology). I have been working in the field of Education and Adult Training since 2000. I believe that I am becoming a facilitator (rather than the chief protagonist) of my students’ education and learning experience. It is not just about what they know, but rather how they know it, and what they are planning to do with that data. I want to encourage students to become inquisitive problem-solvers and innovators. I also believe that teaching can also develop resilience, compassion and empathy, which are key-skills in our complex world. Recently, I started to develop a profound interest about mindfulness.
