I am a certified yin yoga teacher and I offer 1 hour yin yoga experience. WHAT IS YIN YOGA Yin Yoga is a slow paced and passive style of yoga practice where postures are practiced on the floor in static way for an extended period of time ranging from two to five minutes. When combines with internal awareness yin yoga also becomes a highly meditative tool to cultivate inner silence, enhance awareness and explore the deeper realm of our consciousness. PROGRAM Class is very appropriate for all level practitioners. In 1 hour class we will start with 15 minutes guided meditation then we will continue 45 minutes with yin yoga poses. These poses mainly work with lower of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine and focus on facia. The practice of yin yoga is based on ancient Chinese philosophies and Taoist principles which believe there are pathways of Qi (energy) that run through our bodies. We are opening up any blockages and releasing that energy to flow freely. Class will be based on student's needs. Simple yet powerful movement and breathing sequences harmonize mind, body and spirit. They also improve respiratory function and immune defense. These techniques help people who have insomnia, high level of anxiety, stress, feeling tired in general, suffering from overthinking, unable to settle down before bed.
