In this class, I will teach you the skills you need to begin your journey as a bassoonist, to develop your existing skills and experiences, or to flourish as an advanced player. I will cover embouchure, breath support, technique, reed making and reed adjustment, core repertoire and expanded repertoire, and orchestral excerpts, as well as basic extended techniques. I will teach all of the skills needed for a thorough understanding, with a strong background in technique and musical expression, but also with an emphasis on enjoyment and fun. I endeavour to make the lessons as rewarding as possible, and guarantee good results! I am happy to coach my pupils for exams, auditions, or for personal enjoyment!
