I like that my pupils enjoy their French lesson. I use at the beginning of the lesson a routine. Examplegreetings, date, weather of the day, vocabulary from past lessons. Then we work on a special topic using books, Power Point presentation or tutorials on Ipad for learning the French vocabulary. We do some practice with exercise. Every lesson are prepared in advance for each student.
For the teenagers the lesson is more academics. I insist on the grammar which is really important and the tense of the verbs. I usually work on the topics studied at school unless the student has a special request. I provide with some support as revision cards for tense of the verbs, topics.
For the GCSE preparation I also include some listening, reading and comprehension and oral questions on the subject studied.

We were quite apprehensive using an app to find the teacher and browsed the Apprentus ads out of interest mostly. Nathalie immediately stood above the others, because of her experience and being a native speaker, so we got in touch. I cannot be happier that I did and that my instinct was correct:-) She is very flexible, knowledgeable and above all, a nice person. Classes are well structured, even when we have a situation that two boys attending together are not on the same level of French, she makes it interesting for both and dynamic enough. The boys were not to keen to have online classes but after trying it with Nathalie, they are enjoying. The whole experience is very interactive through the use of Google docs and camera, of course.
