An argumentative, scientific or philosophical essay is a text which aims to present and defend a thesis. Writing such a text requires clear and concise prose, the ability to present ideas in a structured way and a good command of the logical principles that govern argumentative reasoning. I hold a PhD in analytical philosophy and I have 15 years of experience in Switzerland, Italy and England in the fields of academic research (philosophy and scientific psychology) and teaching. The aim of this course is to assist you in writing your essays by promoting the development of the different skills required to master all phases of this process.
