Hey there! If you are looking for a one-to-one online dyslexia intervention course, this class may be for you! My name is Anna, I am an educator based in Moscow, Russia. I focus on working with dyslexic students, and I am certified by the Orton-Gillingham Online Academy, and I have been trained in the 'Seeing Stars' program, too. I have experience working in a classroom setting, and I love teaching online. At the start of these classes we will determine the letter combinations and words that you (or your learner) can read and write, to see which areas are going strong, and which we need to work on. We will then proceed to have lessons that are focused on developing the learner's reading and writing skills based on their first evaluation, and day-to-day progress. This will also include learning to read and write high frequency words. The lessons follow the Orton-Gillingham method, with some practices inspired by Lindamood-Bell's 'Seeing Stars'. However if you have a specific set of practices you need to work on, let me know, and we can work on those, too. Typically, during these lessons the learner and I use Zoom (or a convenient alternative), Book Creator, Jamboard and Google Slides. These tools can be adjusted to your preferences, as it is important for all of us to be comfortable during the lesson. Looking forward to working with you!
