For this and much more, understanding the relationship that exists between human beings and space is of vital importance to reflect and study in more depth the dynamics of human societies, their formation, their processes and their advances. We will start from the beginning of the human being and the settlement of the world, passing through the classical cultures, highlighting the importance that geography had in the evolution of each of them, we will enter the Middle Ages and understand geography as a strategic weapon that It provided the ability for great empires to expand, such as the Mongols, the Ottomans, and the Romans. We will enter the modern age, passing through the historical milestones that marked the course of our civilization and the importance that geography has within them. And finally we will finish within the contemporary age, where we will explore important concepts within geography and begin to address some new approaches to this new modernity that has drastically transformed our way of living. In addition to these thematic axes, in class we will clarify doubts about the various events that occurred in the 20th century regarding world geopolitics.
