My name is Cindy and I have Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts degrees. I have been teaching strings and piano since 1996. I also have 13 years of experience teaching public school orchestra and elementary music. I love teaching music! I teach students of all ages and abilities. My goal is to not only teach you how to play an instrument, but also to inspire in you a passion for your instrument. While I have a wide curriculum I teach from, these lessons are for you! If there is a particular genre of music you want to learn, we will focus on that style of music as soon as possible. I try to incorporate music theory into my lessons as well, so you will be able to take your knowledge of music to other instruments or voice. I am a published composer, and we can work on composition during lessons if you are interested. I will also incorporate music history if you wish to expand your knowledge in that direction. My lessons will be conducted in English. I look forward to teaching you!
