Hello!🍡 My name is Chiaki (千明 in Japanese, it means "a thousand lights") and I am a Japanese teacher in Lausanne. Passionate about foreign languages and cultures, I studied Japanese teaching at university and obtained a master's degree in language teaching. I truly believe that a good teacher is also a learner. Through my own experiences with languages like English, German, Arabic, Italian, Korean, and French, I have come to understand the challenges, doubts, and joys that come with diving into a new language. For me, learning a language is more than just words. It’s a way to see the world through a new lens, to understand different cultures, and to build bridges between people.
