Students will learn left or right hand techniques, chords, scales and progressions, as well as improvisation and composition skills. Course content: Guitar fundamentals: instrument anatomy, tuning and basic techniques. Exploration of styles: rock, blues, jazz, folk or other genres. Advanced techniques: fingerpicking, tapping, bending, among others. Improvisation and composition: theory and practice of musical creation. Creative applications: interpretation of selected pieces and collaboration on group projects. Teaching Methodology: The course combines theoretical classes with guitar practices, technique exercises and analysis of musical works. Assessment: Evaluation will be based on class participation, technical progress and interpretation of selected pieces. Previous requirements: No prior guitar knowledge required, just motivation to learn and practice regularly.
