During my career in the US I was constantly writing essays for my classes, in addition to having to present projects in front of my teachers and classmates. At the same time, I was working at university and after graduating I worked for a year, mainly having long conversations on the phone with people from all over the country. Nowadays the ability to communicate in English is essential and I will prepare you so that you can meet your objectives. It could be studying abroad, going to live in an English-speaking country, improving communication in the professional field or practicing so as not to lose the level previously acquired. If what you are looking for is to improve your knowledge of the English language, I am going to help you. My methodology is simple. Each person is different and I adapt the content of my classes to the needs and interests of my students. I have been teaching for over 5 years and have taught a range of subjects including English Language, Politics and Sociology. I have worked in language schools in both Hamburg and Berlin as well as English state schools. I am a Cambridge University certified language teacher (CELTA) and have a postgraduate degree in education from the University of Cambridge where I was awarded the Lowman's prize for English from my college. I have taught a range of language levels from beginners to advanced and always try to foreground my learner's knowledge and interests. I also have lots of experience teaching business English and preparing students for examinations. I always aim to construct my teaching around the needs and desires of my students, but frequently use a discursive method for teaching as this is generally the end goal of learning any language. Yuvraj is a wonderful teacher! I've been studying piano for half a year with him, and the progress never stops. He teaches everything that you need to be a pianist, including the technique, classical theory, jazz theory, as well as how to find good new songs. Within the few months that I've had him, he quickly took me from having zero practical music knowledge to being able to read and play Trinity grade 3 songs on my own. Yuvraj always tries to make piano something fun and enjoyable, rather than just another annoying thing to grind all the time. This is the guy for those who want to learn with a relaxed, slow and steady attitude. Even better if you're down to challenge yourself with new, unconventional music that you might not expect. While I don't really have anything to compare him to, I am very happy learning piano with Yuvraj.

Germán is a great teacher and also fun to work with. He first carefully diagnoses strengths and weaknesses and then designs tailored exercises around the learning needs and gives concrete feedback and shares vocabulary tips. If you search someone to better understand homework/grammar exercises or someone for stand-alone private classes, German is your guy for both. He can explain grammar or improve conversational skills. Before our private lessons, I took courses at the Cervantes institute and my professor there also respected him a lot for his teaching methods and knowledge.
