Trusted teacher: Dutch: Hello! I am Patricia, double bass, electric bass and baby bass player from Spain and live in Vlaardingen (Netherlands). I have studied up to Dutch A2 level, so I can have basic conversations and teach Dutch at a basic level. We can also have lessons in English, Spanish or Catalan. I studied the bachelor's degree at the jazz department in Codarts and also the master's degree in Codarts (but in the Latin department). In addition, I took an extra course during my bachelor studies to learn lessons (I have an official certificate). I have a lot of experience playing all over the world with many different bands and orchestras, such as in the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Colombia and Mexico with electric bass, double bass and Baby bass (electric double bass). As a music teacher, I have 4 years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults of different levels. As a bass teacher, I always tailor my lessons to the student from day one, asking about your music preferences and which tunes you want to play. Music theory if you want to improve as a musician, but I also understand that it can be boring, that's why from the first lesson you will learn theory while playing your favorite songs. I will adjust the program for you. I can also give you tips about bass amplifiers, music software, etc., because I also studied sound engineering and worked as a sound engineer for many years. The most important thing for me as a teacher is that you learn and at the same time have fun playing your instrument and improve yourself as a musician! English: Hi! Trusted teacher: First of all, congratulations on getting this far: finding the right teacher is not easy, but the hardest part is behind you. My method is innovative and differs from the classic French system (obsolete and archaic): The student learns to become independent and autonomous by integrating technical principles applicable to different scenarios, somewhat according to the philosophy of Asian martial arts (but rest assured, nothing martial here, everything is done flexibly). My lessons are fun, and are aimed at beginners as well as experienced ones. The first step consists of first validating a few quick theoretical and technical bases. This is a crucial step to progress quickly and efficiently: what is a grade? A deal ? An arpeggio? A range ? How to hold a pick? In what position to play? Once the basics have been acquired, the student can learn pieces of their choice or work on particular playing techniques (picking, alternate picking, tapping, etc.) always in accordance with their needs, and above all their desires! Obviously the content is adapted to each person, the same goes for the style: Rock, Blues, Pop, Variety, Reggae, Metal... the possibilities are endless. For those who wish to risk it, the theme of improvisation is also on the program: Contrary to popular belief, this discipline is not reserved for the elite or the experienced, everyone is capable of it with a little training and an appropriate method. Music is an artistic field, everyone can see a future in it as long as the motivation is there!

Instrumental Teacher ( Piano, Guitar, Bass & Ukulele)
Mary
Mary has been great in our interactions. At the moment, we are meeting twice a week for an hour each session. She started with a class in which we got to know each other and she listen to my goals. Then, she prepared exercises and lessons specially designed to help me reach those goals with practice and also prepared lessons to help me continue growing as a guitar player. Moreover, she goes often out of her way to get songs challenging to my level, but that are doable with enough practice. In all, I am enjoying quite a lot of our classes and I am always looking forward to them.

Sanja
Sanja is fantastic! Her attitude towards how she teaches is refreshing as she let's her students, and actively encourages, making a song their own. I organised this for my fiancée as a surprise birthday present and she absolutely loved the experience! She is a very visual learner so the worksheets that Sanja had prepared were perfect, despite being aimed at kids, they worked wonders for her! I was allowed to sit close by too so I could enjoy the whole experience which was lovely. Thank you so much!! And we have already organised the next lesson.

Vasyl
I recently started taking guitar lesson with Vasyl and I'm really happy with my experience so far. As someone with zero knowledge about playing guitar, I was a bit nervous to start, but Vasyl has been incredibly patient and encouraging. He's a great teacher who knows how to motivate his students to keep going, even when things get challenging. I feel like I've made a lot of progress in just a short amount of time and I'm excited to continue learning from him.
