Open to students of all levels, my course usually is taught online, using a variety of visual aids and a wide range of material, from textbooks to YouTube videos. In teaching advanced learners, I often refer to pieces of literature such as novels and poems, since they easily spark discussions, which in turn improves the students' grasp and feel of the language. In doing so, I take students beyond ordinary textbooks and grammar books, since they are no more than guides to learning, not absolute authorities, and because to me language is a living, constantly evolving matter, which you must submerge yourself into in order to understand. Very satisfied with one week sustained session on Japanese essentials with Chihi san. Contents are spot on, method is very adaptable. I felt both challenged, enabled and wishing for more. Just great: I recommend her completely: She tuned in very naturally to my constraints and my learning style, giving me content and foundation I can use immediately, and going the extra mile with research on many small questions I raised all along the way or in between. Planning was also very smooth: She was organised and at the same time very flexible to meet my needs on timing, location , contents etc. I won’t need to look elsewhere on my next learning sessions.

We are expats that moved to the Netherlands a couple of years ago. Our kids were 6 and 9 when we got in touch with Hetty at the beginning of this year. Hetty worked amazingly at their level and using their interests to build up their confidence in speaking Dutch. I have seen a tremendous improvement in their Dutch within 4-5 months. I would happily recommend Hetty to students with even just a basic knowledge of the language. Had we not moved cities, I would’ve used her services to improve my own language ability!

My daughter had her first French language lesson with Ms. Jorjeta. It went really well. My daughter really enjoyed learning with her. Ms. Jorjeta was really patient and understanding. She was also really eager to teach. She tried to explain things in a simple way. She was also very good at sustaining a conversation with the student, even a beginner. My daughter is looking forward to her next lessons.
