Trusted teacher: Hi, I started my professional life as a chemical engineer and then worked in the international trade departments of several companies for 10 years. Last year, I did my Master's in France. I have always been interested in different cultures and tried to improve myself by learning foreign languages. During my learning process, I had a chance to teach Turkish to my language partners and realized that I really enjoyed teaching. At this point, with the experience I have gained about different cultures and my continued interest in teaching, I would love to have the opportunity to teach Turkish as a tutor. I have a flexible approach to teaching. Our lessons will be shaped according to your needs and demands. We will use grammar materials, websites, videos, and music during our classes. Most importantly, we will work in a way that will make your learning enjoyable and fun. ----------------------------------- Hello, I started my professional life as a chemical engineer and then worked in the international trade department with several companies for more than 10 years. I obtained my MBA in France in 2019. Being curious by nature, I have always been interested in foreign cultures and languages, which pushed me to broaden my horizons by traveling and learning other languages. I learned English, the language with which I completed my Masters in France. I also studied the French language for the simple pleasure of learning it, which proved very useful during my stay in France. Additionally, I plan to learn other languages in the future. During my learning process I also had the chance to teach the Turkish language to my language partners, and I admit that I loved sharing my knowledge with others. Having thus acquired some experience in the field of teaching, I would like to continue teaching the Turkish language and sharing my knowledge as a as guardian. I have a flexible approach to teaching. Our courses will be shaped according to your needs and requests. We will use grammar materials, websites, videos and music during our classes. Most importantly, we will work in a way that makes your learning enjoyable and fun.

Trusted teacher: Hello, my name is Selin and I am here to give Turkish lessons as a local speaker with the methods that I determine for one's needs for learning. It will be nice to spend time together! I focus on language acquisition techniques for foreigners and refer to lectures as meeting rather than 'lecture'. I adopt an existential educational model because each individual's tendencies and interests to learn the language differ. I adopt Chomsky's language acquisition philosophy based on the idea that all languages can be acquired without an intermediary language. (Of course, English support is provided at the beginning.) 1.) Which Materials Do I Use in My Turkish Language Education? My course materials consist of textbooks in PDF format and audio materials. In addition, I am creating a lecture area on Microsoft's free application Onenote. I also prepare games such as 'taboo' as material according to the needs. In my sessions, I do many activities to help people gain speaking, reading, and listening skills at the same time. 2.) How Do The Lessons Go? I teach in person or online through the application called "Zoom". I prefer individual meetings, but sometimes I can include local speakers. I am of the opinion that learning by having fun, talking, and experiencing is the most permanent one. For this reason, it is very important for me to have fun and talk about current examples in our daily life. 3.) Where Did I Get My Language Teaching Education? From a prestigious university in Turkey (Istanbul University) I received the "Certificate of Teaching Turkish for Foreigners" in 2020. More About Me I care about getting to know new people and thus building new relationships. I like to learn, I like to teach. So, I travel to gain learning and teaching experience. I have traveled to many cities in Europe and would like to travel more in the future. I have been involved in theater and I like to speak my language in a good diction. I like to read and vocalize books. My personal interests are contemporary art and philosophy. I love artistic production (painting and collage). Maybe we'll talk about all this when we meet, huh? And you can tell me about your interests :)

Learning Turkish in fun meetings with a certified teacher (Üsküdar)
Selin Yağmur
Selin started to teach me turkish a year ago. We are doing classes online. She uses a great combination of different online programs, which makes the lessons very interactive. She bases her classes on the Chomsky method, which means that she mainly speaks turkisch, even if she is completely fluent in english. It might be a little bit challenging in the beginning. However, it is the best way to achieve quickly good results. I would say she is made to be a teacher, she has all the qualities for it: patience, structure, professionality, love for her language, excellent diction and an interest for ethymology, humour, creativity, and empathy. She is very open minded and respectful and has also experiences in learning languages (english, french and italien at least). She is teaching me turkisch since a year now, twice a week. After one year, - I can understand small talk conversation from turkisch people in Berlin - I can have a one hour conversation on a basic level only in turkish - I know a little bit more about the complex and fascinating turkish culture. I can warmly recommend her to anyone who wants to achieve solid but quick results and have a good time with a fascinating personality.

French Immersion Online Classes: Engaging, Comprehensive Language Learning for Kindergarten to Grade 12 Students (Montreal)
Sara
Miss Sara is a very good teacher. She has a way to keep my 6 year old daughter engaged and encouraged while increasing her abilities in French. I have seen my daughter improve drastically. She challenges her and she started reading many words in the space of 3 months when she could not before in French. The exercises she gives touches a wide range of topics (syllables, vocabulary, sentance building etc) that has allowed my English speakig daughter to cope well in her French school environment. She started understanding what people say to her in French which is amazing.

Aslı
Friendly, patient, clear, structured, and Asli sets off a vibe that makes it easy to learn! She is a confident and able teacher who is friendly and fun to learn Turkish with. Asli tailors her teaching to my needs as a beginner learning the language for the first time, i have had my hard times communicating about my daily needs wherever i go, now i am able to approach every situation with a better level of confidence. Adding on, for any foreigners, Asli has great english skills too and that surely helps get your understanding across a-lot easier. 5 Stars*
