Trusted teacher: About the teacher: First, Professional. Holding a Master in Music post-graduate degree, the teacher has been teaching piano lessons professionally for 17 years. She has a solid theoretical foundation in music teaching, composition, and piano performance. Second, a kind attitude with patience, as well as proper pedagogy for different levels of students. She has taught students who easily pass ABRSM grade 8. She also possesses excellent patience with young kids under the age of six. During the last ten years, her goal has been to solve an important issue: how to make students interested in piano playing. Most kids who learn the piano would give up before or during their teenage time. However, 99% of them regret it when they grow up. In Christina's lesson, she will acknowledge to the students and parents clearly what difficulties they will face during the process of music learning. It's more important that students learn to develop a good habit, a worthwhile hobby, and the perseverance that will benefit their whole life. About the class: This class aims to prepare for the ABRSM piano grade 1-8 test at a more intensified pace. The student is supposed to possess certain musical knowledge or required piano skills. The teacher will help the students develop their missing skills to pass the exam. Different students may require different class lengths. For a child under the age of six, the teacher recommends less time for each class but a higher frequency. Kids who took the piano class twice a week and half an hour each class usually progress faster than those who took it once a week. For kids who practice longer time, it is also advised to take the course longer time. A child who practices two hours a day could play Beethoven's Fur Elise within one year, but for a child who practices less than half an hour per day, this goal usually takes more than four years to achieve. For adults who have greater self-control, it is advised to take the class for a longer time per class but with less frequency. About the price: It’s not fixed, depending on the distance. If the travel time is less than half an hour to the students’ home, the price will be the same as at the teacher’s home.

Trusted teacher: I offer you my services in order to make you truly effective orally / in writing in English. If you have to use English for your professional activity and you don't feel comfortable. If you are tired of being spotted right away as the French. If you still don't know when to use the present perfect / preterite, I'm here to help and take you forward. * Linguist by training and author of school textbook in this capacity. I am not that young student who got a good mark in the Baccalaureate or that other who is supposedly bilingual. I have been teaching as a teacher in the National Education since 1995 and I can tell you that teaching cannot be improvised. It is not an activity that we do "like that". I offer you my expertise and my experience. To have 10/20 in the Baccalaureate, it is enough to have the A2 level (which is theoretically expected at the end of 3rd year) so I let you imagine the desperation of future engineers who must obtain at least 750 in the TOEIC! (the equivalent of level B2) * Daily monitoring possible via internet. * Specialized in "phonology": intonation, word accent, connections, oral grammar. * Adaptation to all levels: from college to post-Bac including high school. => Post-bac: preparation for TOEIC, TOEFL, iELTS, Cambridge First-Certificate, Advanced Certificate. => CPGE: translation, essay, "fluency". => Enunciative Linguistics (CAPES) - Didactics of English. => Orals and writings of the grandes écoles such as the ENA. => Orals and writings from business schools (Tremplin-Passerelle ...). => English for medical interns.

French living FLE A2-C2 Lyon or by SKYPE / French for foreigners LYON (Pierre-Bénite)
Vendula
My apologies to Vendula for not having written this review before now. Three weeks ago I was in Lyon for the weekend and Vendula was my tutor. I chose Vendula as she seemed to be very bubbly, friendly and understanding of my learning needs and level. Her communication was excellent and she gave much thought about how best to maximise my learning experience. We met as agreed and Vendula was exactly how she seemed - interested, interesting and passionate about providing the best learning environment for me, and she was incredibly patient. I throughly enjoyed her company and we experienced much of Lyon’s culture, including local delicacies, cafe theatre entertainment and the popular Sunday fresh food market. Vendula had taken the time to prepare 9 tasks for me, which ranged from speaking with strangers to obtain information to solving clues relating to Lyon history. It was excellent and provided a great framework for my learning. I strongly recommend Vendula and hope that one day we can meet again, for me to advance my French conversational skills further. Thank you so much Vendula. Denise 😃

French as a Foreign Language - Levels A1 to C1 - French language and culture.
Héloïse
Heloise has been amazing with me. Her patience and expertise has been a god send. I have moved to Switzerland and needed to learn learn french. I am dyslexic and old so she has her work cut out. But in 3 months I have gone from not being able to speak french. To holding conversations if not at full speed but conversations none the less. I could not recommend her highly enough as a french teacher. Her teaching methods have evolved over the time due to my learning ability. She can see whats is working with me and what's not. The lessons are fun and informative so I actually look forward to them instead of dreading them as before. Merci beaucoup 😁

MAKING ONESELF HEARD! (For Presentations & Public Speaking) (Casablanca)
Jay
Public speaking classes with Jay were top-notch! Even though we held the classes online, he has the rare ability to make you feel at ease in a second and I felt fully engaged. Jay covered a variety of subjects regarding tone, speed, volume, pronunciation, etc. with different exercises. I've noticed continuous progress throughout the classes and I have now a better control of my public speaking skills, which will be of great use both in personal and professional contexts. I highly recommend!
