I have been trained formally as a vocalist since the age of 10 studying music in the styles of classical, contemporary and jazz. I have recently received a certificate for Level I of The LoVetri Institute for Somatic VoiceworkTM and will continue to gain credentials in this method of training. Our lessons will be guided by an holistic approach, offering you technique that will help you to connect with your voice more freely and to help you feel more confident in your ability.

I take lessons via Skype and I am more than happy to have found Joana as my singing teacher! Joana easily adapts to the student's level and tailors each lesson to the student's individual needs. I would describe her teaching approach as original, motivating and effective. Joana knows how to create a warm and supporting learning environment where I feel comfortable to explore and improve my singing voice.
