Trusted teacher: Pupils Tutoring/class in math and physics

I offer private tutoring/classes (home work help, test preparation, in math and/or physics to pupils in secondary school up to preparation for university.
I excel at the following: Teaching - The fundamentals (from which one can understand and solve all the other problems) - Reason and logic (how to argue using mathematical language and knowing where to begin arguing) - Patterns of problem solving
 - I answer any „why“ till there is no more (at definition or observation) - Showing and explaining the relation between real world and mathematical language
 - In physics: making experiments either with your children, or we have the possibility of simulations and videos to get a feeling for the matter. I like to compare science reasoning and especially math to playing chess. The rules of the game are the fundamentals, which you need to start playing. Those you can use to play, to argue. Then one can develop skills and strategies to beat the opponent -> patterns of problem solving and using theorems like binomial formulas.

In chess the last „why“ one can ask is about the rules. Those are set -> Definitions and observations - and to reason in math we don’t need to go further. In physics it is always a question what is the observation where you can start with reasoning. For this I will need to know what is your curriculum and subjects you did already in your physics class.

Mathematical language is just another form of language. As one can think and imagine various different kinds of tables, when reading the words „table“, also mathematical formulas should bring images of things or actions in your mind. Even more so in Physics.
If this is not the case math becomes nothing more than a game. It can be an exciting one, but I think the most important aspect of math and sciences is how potent they are to solve problems and make our life nicer and easier. They can’t do that if there is no perceived relation between them and the world.

How can the Tutoring/class look like:
Your children can always come with question and homework problems to me, which we will solve together. Having in mind that the children should become self sufficient and confident and feel mostly comfortable doing math / or physics.
If I recognise that basics are missing I will adress them on the spot, but in order to setup a rigorous manner and plan to improve your children’s qualities efficiently and longterm I would need to charge sometimes additional time I need for preparation. (This I will always and only do with your knowledge and consent.)
I can also prepare whole classes designed for your children addressing its individuals problems. In this case we will also agree on some additional charge needed for the preparation. (About half an hour for most classes.)

Robert
The experience with Robert was great and I highly recommend him. The experience with Apprentus, however, was the opposite. If you want to try a single class, they charge you a "membership fee" that costs about the same as the class itself... If you want to avoid the membership fee you have to buy packages of 5 or 10 classes... These fees appear only once you have already been in touch with your teacher and you probably don't want to cancel your meeting anymore. Such hidden fees that appear only at the very end of the booking are anything but customer friendly... So my message is mixed: go for Robert, but not for Apprentus...

School support for children from 5 years (help with homework). (Rabat)
Yasmine
there are two kinds of people out there, Those who are looking for tutors who master what they are doing, and others search only for any teacher. I can assure you that with yasmine, you have got both ( she is excellent at math and in teaching as well. Best Regards.

course supports school math - physics - science - english (Martelange)
Ludmilla
Ludmilla guided me through some high level maths when no one else could. She is extremely helpful and pedagogical. I strongly recommend her.
