Hello! My name is Frida, I'm 26 years old, and I'm studying German Language and Literature at UNAM. I'm currently specializing in teaching and have taken/are currently taking a course through the Goethe-Institut for teaching German (DLL). I also recently passed the Goethe-Institut B2 certification. I started teaching German in early 2021, as the pandemic caught me in the middle of a trip to Switzerland, and there was quite a lot of demand from the Latinos and Latinas I met there. It's worth mentioning that I also lived in Switzerland for a few months. Shortly after, during my trip to Europe, I volunteered in Romania, with a German couple (we took care of their horses and their crops), and later at a dog and cat shelter, where I helped communicate with people who wanted to adopt a dog or cat from a German-speaking country. I've been learning German since 2014. My main motivation was German music, although I'm now also interested in other aspects of the language, such as its history, culture, and literature. I am English and speak fluent Dutch. Spanish has always been a language that I loved and wanted to learn. So, I took the plunge and started learning with Patricia. Patricia is such a dedicated highly professional teacher, full of enthusiasm. She inspires me by using all kinds of different lesson methods. Reading, watching films, various writing exercises that she creates herself, she also encourages students to attend monthly get togethers where we all speak Spanish together around a well adorned table of food and drink with a Spanish speaking country as the theme. Her patience with my slow talking and constant mistakes with word endings and verbs is just amazing!! I have been learning for more than half a year now and I hope many more years to come.Thank you Patricia! I highly recommend this teacher.

Camilo is an excellent Spanish teacher. We’ve been working together for 2.5 months and my Spanish has advanced so much. I’ve worked with teachers in the past and have taken a lot of classes, I can confidently say from experience that Camilo really knows what he’s doing. His lessons are well planned and thorough, the homework assignments are not too time consuming and really focus on the topic we are learning and help me advance a lot. He’s a genuinely nice person and I enjoy our conversations. Class time always goes by so quickly because it’s a lot of fun (and we check out different cafes around Medellin which is also fun!). I highly highly recommend Camilo as your Spanish teacher!
