1. If you want to learn Russian quickly and productively, be aware that it will take time. In the first lesson we clarify what you want to achieve and how quickly, so that my lessons are suitable for those who want to learn super fast as well as for those who want to learn in a relaxed atmosphere or just as a hobby. 2. Let's face it, Russian is one of the most difficult Indo-European languages. That means it is almost impossible to get to a high level just by talking and watching a few videos without using any textbooks. Therefore, in order to make the learning process as productive as possible, at least half of the lesson is devoted to a special textbook, the second half is aimed at practicing pronunciation, reading, translating and immersing yourself in Russian culture. 3. I prefer to give some videos, articles, and podcasts as homework rather than going through them during class, as I'm sure my students can do this without my help so that we can learn something new during class. 4. I will correct and help you with your pronunciation. 5. Without taking notes and learning new words, the learning process slows down, so I strongly recommend going through all of the notes again after the lesson. 6. I really like linguistics, Russian history and culture, so you can always ask me about Russian language history, whatever you want :)

Trusted teacher: Russian is my mother tongue and in addition I have pursued a Russian speaking education for as long as I remember. Hence, I feel competent to be able to tutor you or your kid! Quick to point out any grammatical mistakes, teach certain phrasings and idioms, as well as over simplifying and aiding any further improvements that you or your kids might want to pursue in your Russian language advancement. In this class I will give you exercises and worksheets outside of class, but will ensure that most of the content will be addressed in the class itself. The first class is introductory, just to see where your or your kid's level is at. From then on, I will be able to address which areas we should work on and improve. I will ensure that throughout the whole course of tutoring, the lessons will be systematic and efficient, where you feel like you are getting your moneys worth. I will also ensure that the lessons are interesting and fun, rather than mundane and confusing. As someone who is constantly working on improving other languages, I know the struggle of finding a teacher that will actually tackle the areas of language. As someone who is working on secondary languages, I know what the mind of a language learner actually is as I have also learned languages at various points of my lifetime. Although, Russian is my mother-tongue, I have encountered with my many people who wanted to learn Russian and hence I recognise where the difficulties are when learning the language. I was always the highest achieving student in my Russian classes, ending the year with a 5/5. I have also taken it during my IGCSEs and got an "A" in my exam.
