Professional singer holding a Master Degree in vocal jazz and a Post-Master Teaching Degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels gives private singing lessons open to all ages and all levels. I am specialized in jazz, but I am open to different genres from salsa to pop music. My goal is to keep my students challenged, but not overwhelmed. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, no previous experience is required nor reading music. And if you have already been involved with music and want to refresh or improve your musical knowlegde, you are on the right spot. You will learn a variety of singing techniques, personalized according to your needs, as well as your favorite songs, all this in a professional, but very relaxed and fun environment. I can accompany my singing students at the piano.

I am a 32 year old pianist and I offer private piano lessons in a friendly and fun environment for children from 6 years old and adults, at all levels, in English, French and Portuguese. I have a lot of teaching experience (private lessons and music school in France and Brazil), and in the lessons I work on the musical language studied and the required technique. In the theoretical side, I prepared many students for their entrance exam to university in Brazil. I graduated in Master and Postgraduate in piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel). I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

Oriental Songs: Learn to play the most famous oriental tunes and songs to be able to give a distinctive performance. Musical Pieces: Study traditional and contemporary oriental pieces while developing individual performance skills. As for the piano, we will focus on: Musical Notes: Learn to read and write notes easily while improving your musical skills. Musical Scales: Study major and minor scales and their effect on playing pieces. Chords: Learn to build different chords and how to use them in playing. Western and Eastern Pieces: Present a mix of Western and Eastern pieces that enhance your skills and develop your artistic taste. Technique Exercises: Advanced exercises to improve hand coordination and improve performance on the piano. In guitar, we will learn: Musical Notes: Read and write notes easily and effectively on the guitar. Chords: Study chords and how to use them in songs and pieces. In oriental singing, we will learn: Vocal Techniques: Exercises to strengthen and improve the voice, with an emphasis on breathing techniques and larynx control. Oriental Performance: Learn how to perform famous oriental songs, paying attention to the tones and subtleties that characterize Arabic singing. Having completed 12 years of studies in Piano and Music Theory, as well as courses in Musical Training and Sight-Reading, I want to introduce this extraordinary instrument to both beginners and advanced students with the same passion that my teachers (including Sodi Braide, who studied at the Paris National Conservatory of Music (CNSM), and Stéphanie Aubert) used to bring me to my current level—performing in major concerts and competitions with first prize at the CMG. As a mechanical engineering student at EPFL, I can adapt the lessons in a fun yet rigorous way, to captivate young beginners. At the same time, my background allows me to expand and deepen the pianistic knowledge of advanced pianists. I look forward to sharing my passion with you!

Even though music is universal, specific terms and method learning differ from one culture and another one. This is why I propose some individual courses of music and piano for people curions about discovering or maybe improving their artistic skills in the language of Moliere. At the beginning of the lesson, the student will be trained by some theory, not the best part for most people. But with the help of mnemotechnic methods, those basics won't have a secret for him/her anymore ;) Then, I will adapt the pratical part depending on the student's level...and will of course ;) He/She can bring the music piece he would like to play.

Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument. Lessons at home or at the student's home (Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Schaerbeek, Saint-Josse, Evere and other neighboring municipalities, occasionally in Walloon Brabant). Classes can be given in French, English or Spanish.

This class fits students of different age groups and playing levels. From absolute beginners about to make their first (musical) steps to more advanced players with more precise goals. The approach is individual and we will discuss the desired goals in advance and build the learning process around those. Some topics that are usually covered are - rhythm guitar, being able to accompany yourself while singing (in different styles and techniques), lead guitar, improvisation (from basics to advanced), general knowledge of the fretboard and technique.

I can help students with their piano exams and theory exams. I also have experience teaching beginner students. My goal is to inspire people with music so that they find joy in playing an instrument and in the lessons. I also aim to make every student coming out of the lesson feel motivated to practice and want to do their best.

In my teaching I emphasize the importance of founding a correct and accurate playing technique early on. This allows the students to enjoy an effective and high quality learning process as well as avoiding physical pains and injuries from playing. Furthermore, I encourage all my students to get in contact and work with different types of classical repertoire and other musical genres in their instrumental studies.
