Hello, my name is Lara and I am a 20 year old French girl studying (classical) piano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the heart of London. I offer private piano lessons at home (in French or in English) for people of all ages and all levels (beginners / intermediates / advanced), specializing more particularly in classical music. I can, however, adjust the program to suit the student's personal interests. Having already had experience in teaching, with children and adults, I know how to listen to the individual needs of my students, aiming to achieve their goal but above all to give them the pleasure of doing music! Music is a valuable skill that aids learning in other fields too. I would teach basic music theory, and children's music, introducing basic music concepts. I have also attended a music conservatoire from Sept 2016- Aug 2021, playing the cello, and so can teach this for grades 1-3.

I am a violinist and traveling teacher. I have played the violin for many years in several orchestras. The violin rep to me is the most amazing beautiful sounds that have been created. I love to teach students from the very beginning to help them achieve a good technique and musical ear. The first few lessons are so important to understand how the body works with the violin in order to achieve a beautiful tone and musicality later down the line. I also cater for exams with ABRSM and trinity exam boards I have currently moved to London to continue my studies of the violin with Fabienne Fauritte. My teaching style depends on how the student learns and I will adapt to their needs in order to help them achieve their potential.

This class is for beginner and intermediate musicians who wish to improve their musicianship, whether it be for leisure purposes or preparing for exams such as GCSE, A-Level, ABRSM or equivalent. I can provide tutoring on piano, composition, music theory, 4 part harmony/counterpoint, or any combinations thereof.

Music theory is very important for anyone looking to learn an instrument! It helps broaden an understanding of the instrument and will also help you progress faster! If you are looking to do ABRSM instrumental exams, you will need to pass grade 5 music theory in order to progress to grade 6 in your instrumental exams, therefore I will be able to guide you to passing your grade 5 theory paper and beyond. I am also a professional freelance musician and conductor, for anyone interested in conducting, we can discuss how to approach a score in relation to this.

If you want to develop your skills as a composer, this is the class for you! In this class, you are going to learn the fundamentals of creating original music, including Music theory, Motif Development, Rhythm, Structure, Orchestration, and Music Notation. During our classes, we are also going to explore different musical genres, analyze and finally put them into practice.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
