I offer violin lessons from beginner to advanced players and my goal is to foster a strong foundation while tailoring lessons to each student’s individual goals and interests. I graduated with honors from the “Monteverdi” Conservatory in Italy and I hold a Bachelor and Master’s Degree from the Mozarteum University Salzburg, having studied with Prof. Lukas Hagen and Prof. Klara Flieder. I performed all over Europe and in South America with renowned ensembles such as Camerata Salzburg and Munich Chamber Orchestra. I emphasize the development of solid technical skills while nurturing each student’s musical expression and creativity. To generate interest in children to learn, constant dynamics are needed, which I have worked on for several years with different methodology that can be used for the development of musical learning, through games, which encompasses the physical, the visual and the auditory. Learning by playing is the most used tool in my classes for children aged 7 and up.

My undergraduate and masters degrees in Music from Berklee College of Music and Trinity College Dublin provided a solid foundation in both music theory and performance, which I have built upon through extensive practical teaching experience. After successfully completing his music studies (Music Bachelor), he won a grant from the Brazilian government and emigrated to the Netherlands to take up postgraduate studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Prof. Vladimir Mendelssohn. He received his Masters in Solo Performance and Chamber Music with Honors. His diverse musical activities have taken him - both as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher - on concert tours to Brazil, Portugal, France, Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe, North Africa and Asia. Jadenir lived in Vienna from 2007 to 2016. There he performed between 2005 and 2010 as principal violist of the “Spirit of Europe” chamber orchestra, in which he was also a member of the artistic advisory board and was involved in planning-relevant decisions on artistic and organizational issues. He also played in the RSO Vienna and the Ambassade Orchestra Vienna. Jadenir has lived and worked in Berlin since 2016. With chamber music as the center of his life, he founded several ensembles with different line-ups in 2017. In addition to his artistic activity, viola lessons have been an important part of his life for many years. As a viola teacher, he has been in close contact with music festivals and music schools since 2007, especially those that are dedicated to social projects. About my viola lessons I offer dynamic and playful lessons. The goal of my lessons is to break the barrier between music and technology, so these are not taught separately from each other. Rather, I see technology as the merging of movement, breathing and sound. Beginners and advanced learners of all ages from 10 years are welcome. I convey all kinds of music, their style and technique. I am happy to help advanced students prepare for entrance exams, auditions, auditions and competitions. I also offer coaching for chamber music ensembles. The key to successful viola lessons lies in a transparent and open exchange: I therefore encourage the students to share their needs and expectations; and the family is also involved in their musical development. My two main instruments were made especially for me and I was able to exchange ideas with the violin makers during the instrument making, which gave me extensive knowledge of the manufacture, setup and care of a string instrument. I am also happy to pass on my knowledge to my students in this area. Because with the growing understanding of the acoustics of the viola, one's own playing technique and trust in the instrument develop. English, Portuguese, Spanish or Italian are also possible as the language of instruction.

I aim to strike a balance as much as possible between teaching technical skills and musicality, as of course there cannot be one without the other when learning an instrument. Lessons are a mixture of teaching and demonstrating correct posture, finger patterns or body movements, and teaching and engaging a learner with rhythm, pitch and melody, and then combining them together. I am a firm believer in tackling one aspect at a time in lessons and gradually combining it with another aspect of playing. I often include activities such as playing a note and asking the student to match my pitch or sound quality, or including musical games that can develop musical memory and rhythm. The most important aspect of learning any instrument is of course the music! Aiming to help a student find music (or if they have ideas they are welcome to bring them along!) that they love and find absorbing - this can be any genre, as long as it has a tune! I have a variety of books of different levels that I can use to help students find styles that are fun and enjoyable for them. There are technical things that need to be worked on in playing any instrument - but of fundamental importance is that the student has a feel for the music they play and a musical idea of what the end goal of any piece is.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone.
