I am an experienced math and physics teacher with a bachelor's, teacher training and master's degree recognized by the Austrian government. I try to help the student to achieve success in solving problems related to the theories, assisting step by step the resolution by the student (to stimulate his/her prominence, autonomy, and self-confidence in problems solving), through questions and, when needed, giving further examples and explanations that can bring deeper understandings. In my class enter no criticism and no pressure, there is no place for fear of mistakes (the mistakes are part of the way we human beings learn), the atmosphere is happy and healthy, stimulating the student to be himself/herself and to feel free to learn, investigate and question with tranquility and happiness. My role as a teacher is to provide conditions and resources through which i can better help the students to develop themselves and their potential the most.

Ciao! My name is Sam and I am a foreign language graduate from the UK and have lived 3 years in Italy. I recently moved to Vienna from Italy and for the last 3 years I have been teaching and tutoring English. As a language learner myself I understand well the difficulties of learning a new language and how to best overcome the challenges that foreign languages brings. I have found that the best lessons are always tailored to the student's needs as languages are composed of many skills & wide vocabularies that certain students need more than others. I am a very open and relaxed person and I find this helps take the pressure and stress off students speaking in their foreign language. I have a C1 Italian level that I achieved through University and living in Italy, therefore, I would also be available to teach beginners and intermediate Italian learners helping with pronunciation, grammar and colloquial sayings.
